When Birmingham City Council decided to tackle the problem of cigarette stubbs on the ground around their City Centre litter bins, instead of in the litter Bins – they came to us with a brief.

The brief was:-

• Make us something that lasts a lifetime and requires no maintenance
• Looks stylish
• Solves the problem
• Oh and by the way if it doesn’t require emptying that would be handy too.

After eighteen months of development and testing we presented the finished result, - last a lifetime, looks stylish, requires no maintenance, solves the problem, oh and by the way – it doesn’t require emptying either.
